Issued to US Air Force crewmembers, the low profile life preserver unit type LPU-9/P- for use in ejection seat aircraft. This type can be equipped with the automatic inflators that react to saltwater. This preserver is attached to the PCU-15 or 15A/P via a zipper strip and D rings on each side. We offer this life preserver in used condition. Co2 Cylinders, Auto Inflators, and the harness side of the neck zipper (shown in photo) are not included. Vests are sold for DISPLAY ONLY. The LPU bladders are de-milled condition and not servicable. The cloth covers are used condition and have repairs. The vests do come with center strap clips, straps with snap clips for attaching to D rings on harness, and harness size zipper laced to life vest.
