New Vintage Leather Covered Fixed Wing Flight Helmet 

     This New Fixed-Wing Flight Helmet comes with a modern composite shell covered in brown, black, or gray leather, with a leather edge roll, and a leather visor cover. If chosen, Brown leather gives the helmet an authentic 1940s vintage look. It is the perfect helmet for flying in warbird aircraft and maintaining a World War 2 era look but with modern comfort, electronics, and safety.

     Our fixed-wing flight helmet shell sizes (medium, large, and extra large) are the same as the USAF HGU-55/P. Please review our size chart for sizing information on a standard HGU-55/P fixed-wing helmet. (Click the button above in the description to find the size charts)

     A complete size large helmet, including bungee visor but not including ear cups or communications weighs approximately 1 lb 14.5 oz. Configured with basic earphones (not ANR) the weight is approximately 2 lbs 7 oz. / 39 oz. / 1103 grams. Configured with ANR earphones, the weight is approximately 2 lbs 12 oz. / 44 oz. / 1219 grams. All weights based on the size large helmet with a bungee visor.
