Helmet Painting
FlightHelmet.com can repaint your used and worn flight helmet or helicopter helmet. Our standard helmet painting includes primer, your choice of colors, and gelcoat to leave a durable finish that will last for years. Painting costs vary depending on the type of helmet, type of paint, color, number of colors, and pattern, so please call or send us an email and we can provide a quote for your helmet. Helmets that require dis-assembly/assembly or sewn-on leather edgeroll replacement may also have additional costs listed under the refurbishing section below. Some basic painting costs are listed here:
 Helmet painting (in-stock color, one color): $ 300
Helmet painting (custom colors): (price depends on color choice and helmet condition - call to discuss)
Additional colors: $50 extra per color and up (depends on color choice - call to discuss)
Visor housing: $ 20 and up additional
Bayonet receivers: $ 10 and up additional |

FlightHelmet.com can refurbish your flight helmet or helicopter helmet. We see helmets in all conditions, so actual costs of refurbishing vary from helmet to helmet. Please call or send us an email and we can provide a quote for your helmet. Some basic refurbishing estimated costs are listed here:
Helmet assembly/disassembly - $55 - $110 (labor only)
HGU-55 / HGU-33 Leather Edgerolls $ 185 (includes parts and labor)
Basic Labor rate - $55 per hour
