The 3BM was used mostly by test pilots flying in the 1960s and 70s, along with the USAF
Thunderbirds flying F100D Super Sabres in 1959. Very similar to the P-4B, this helmet does
not use a chin strap and has a different type of visor locking system. This TopTex has
full leather interior and hardman receivers. Also notable is the leather trim at the end
of the visor track. |
