HGU-55/P HALO Helmet - 1990's
The HALO (High Altitude- Low Opening) helmet is used by US Army Special Operations groups and other foreign countries Special Ops team members. The helmet is basically an HGU-55/P and used the same visor and many parts. The HALO helmet also uses clear goggles, light weight plastic bayonet receivers, boom mike with downlead that can be mounted on either side. The helmet is used with an MBU-12/P and has dual communications plugs on either side. They can be found painted in either Lusterless Grey or Flat Black. This one is Grey.
